Aharbal
Waterfall is a secluded resort 20 Km off Shopian in Kashmir.
The place is as famous for its waterfall as it is for the
folklore and stories of magic and mystique associated
with the place. Locals tell of tales of the Unique
attraction that the waterfall has which has taken the life's
of many a visitors. So much so that newly wedded couples and
unmarried girls are very reluctant to visit the place.
Rumors aside the place is a wonderful picnic spot with dense
pine forests, deep canyons and gorges and the powerful awe
inspiring waterfall. Recommended.

Huge and
powerful waterfall, barricaded now.. Its a sight to behold
among pine forests and mountains.

KousarNag:
3 to 4 hours walk among meadows and valleys will get
you to this beautiful and heavenly place. Its a huge spring
surrounded by tall mountains. A must see if you can walk
that much. Alternately you could take a pony ride to that
place. Around 2 hours by pony.

How to reach
Place is around 20km from
Shopian in District Pulwama, Kashmir. Its a 1.5 hour journey
from Srinagar by your own transport.

Sumo or taxi would
normally cost you around Rs1500 for full booking for the whole
day.

Bus: Cost around Rs.3500,
taxes extra.
